UPSTART
Mission
The UPSTART program strives to maximize the potential of University of Pennsylvania research to the benefit of the university, the investigative team, and society in general through the creation and stimulus of entrepreneurial endeavors. Venture Initiatives While there are many paths to commercialization of a new technology, the UPSTART team works with Penn faculty, staff and students to develop a strategy around company formation as a means to increase the value of the technology while giving it exposure in the marketplace. We are committed to assisting the development team through the entire commercialization process and will provide an array of services along the way.
